Twenty-Eight commit themselves to reaching an agreement in autumn 2019 on EU budget for 2021-2027

The Heads of State or Government of the Member States confirmed their differences on Thursday 13 December in Brussels on the proposals for the next EU Multi-annual Financial Framework (MFF) for 2021-2027 (see EUROPE 12158).

This debate, which, according to a European source, is “predictable” in substance, confirms the willingness of EU leaders to complete this sensitive issue in autumn 2019, under the Finnish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
