European Parliament calls on Member States to make their cooperation conditional on respect for human rights

On Thursday 13 December, MEPs urged the EU and its Member States to "make further cooperation with Egypt conditional on respect for human rights and to incorporate human rights issues into all talks with the Egyptian authorities".
