Member States will debate future of single market in March 2019

The Heads of State and Government are preparing to adopt an item on the single market at the end of the European Council on Friday 14 December, which includes holding an “in-depth” discussion at the spring meeting on the development of the single market with a view to preparing a strategic agenda. 

No real discussion is expected between the leaders during this meeting – the agenda for which is already very full (see other news) – with the major debate on the single market is...
