Seven MEPs from the Greens/EFA Group in the European Parliament announced on Tuesday 27 November that they have lodged an appeal before the European Court of Justice against the Parliament after the latter's decision not to put the request for a committee of inquiry on the transport of live animals (see EUROPE 12001) to a vote in plenary.
