European Parliament/Council negotiations on port reception facilities for delivery of waste are expected to be completed in December

The second meeting of inter-institutional negotiations (trilogues) on port reception facilities for the delivery of waste from ships, held on Thursday 22 November, enabled representatives of the European Parliament and the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the EU to make progress on certain points, enabling them to approach a possible final meeting in December with confidence. 

These negotiations echo the European Commission's proposal from last January to repeal the existing directives...
