European Parliament/Council negotiations on unfair trading practices continue on 21 November

08/11/2018 (Agence Europe) – Negotiations between EU institutions on the proposal for a directive aimed at preventing unfair trading practices (UTP) in the food supply chain are to resume on 21 November (see EUROPE 12127, 12125).  A second trialogue was held on Wednesday 7 November during which the parties made some headway on the list of UTP.  The European Parliament is keener than the Council to enlarge that list.  Negotiators also discussed the scope of the text.  Another trilogue...
