EESC calls for safeguards on AI and interaction between human beings and machines at work

05/10/2018 (Agence Europe) – In a press release on Friday 5 October, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) called on the European Commission to clarify and define in detail the relations between human beings and machines in its ethnical directives on artificial intelligence (AI) that the it is preparing for the end of the year (see EUROPE 12009).
