Agreement between EU and Albania on cooperation with European Border and Coast Guard Agency

05/10/2018 (Agence Europe) – According to a press release from the EU Council, the European Union signed an agreement on Friday 5 October organising cooperation between Albania and the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex) on the management of the EU's external borders.  The agreement was signed in Tirana by Austria's Minister for the Interior Herbert Kickl, European Commissioner for Migration Dimitris Avramopoulos and Albania's Minister for the Interior Fatmir Xhafaj.  The...
