29/05/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 29 May, Romania and Spain jointed a number of digital cooperation initiatives on the fringes of the Competitiveness Council. Romania signed the European ‘Blockchain’ partnership, the declaration of cooperation on artificial intelligence and the ‘Innovation Radar’ declaration. Spain also signed the ‘Innovation Radar’ declaration, taking the number of the document’s co-signatories to eighteen (in addition to Norway). These initiatives were all launched on Digital Day in April 2018 (see EUROPE 11999). (SPj)
