23/04/2018 (Agence Europe) – The countries in the Visegrad group (Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia) issued a common statement on Thursday 19 April on the future of their economic cooperation. They pledge to extend their cooperation and action to strengthen competitiveness, innovation and digital transition. The document foresees a boosting of cross-border cooperation and, importantly, launches the drafting of a common document on the Visegrad countries’ industrial strategy over the long term, in connection with the broader European industrial strategy (see EUROPE 11984).
