EPO launches consultation to review rules of procedure for boards of appeal

20/02/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 19 February, the European Patents Office (EPO) announced the launch of an online consultation for review of rules of procedures for boards of appeal.  At present, there are no fewer than 28 such boards organised around technical themes, as well as the legal board of appeal, the Grand Board of Appeal and the board of appeal enacting on disciplinary matters.  Consultation is open until 30 April 2018 and should contribute to a new provisional version...
