Airbus to develop next EGNOS

20/02/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 20 February, the GNSS Agency (GSA) announced that Airbus had been selected as the main contractor for developing EGNOS V3, the next generation of the satellite-based augmentation system (SBAS) in Europe. Airbus was chosen by the European Space Agency (ESA), which is in charge of developing the EGNOS programme as part of an agreement signed with the GSA.
