Guidelines for using EGNOS system in maritime sector

09/02/2018 (Agence Europe) – The European GNSS Agency, or GSA, announced on Thursday 8 February that the International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA) had published new guidelines for more effective use of the satellite-based augmentation system (SBAS) which allows tracking data in the maritime sector to be increased.  The IALA document explains to maritime authorities how to use information provided by SBAS to best help seafarers by making...
