Czech compensation measures for electronic data box services given go-ahead

02/02/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 2 February, the European Commission endorsed a Czech measure to support electronic data box services.  Such boxes are used for internal communication in the civil service and for rendering secure communications between the civil service and citizens or companies.  The Czech authorities feel that this is a service of general economic interest (SGEI) and are planning to make them free for users, while postal services will receive compensation for...
