European home affairs ministers invited to set out course to follow for Dublin asylum reform

Meeting in Sofia on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 January, European home affairs and justice ministers will discuss the ongoing reform of the Dublin regulation on asylum seekers and, with regards justice, the way the European prosecutor works against European budget fraud, and its interaction with other European agencies.

In December, the European Council had set the deadline for reaching consensus on reform of the Dublin regulation for end June this year (see EUROPE 11926 and 11927).  The...
