EU's validation process of free trade agreement text could be opened in spring

23/01/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 23 January, European Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström said the European Commission was expected to present the EU-Singapore free trade agreement text "in the spring", ahead of its signature and ratification. "The technical details must be translated.  We should be able to present the agreement text in the spring" (Ed: after legal scrubbing and translation into all the EU languages), Malmström told the European Parliament's international...
