EEAS assures EU will monitor return of Rohingya Muslims carefully

The head of the South-East Asia division at the European External Action Service (EEAS), David Daly, said that the European Union would follow the return of Rohingya Muslims carefully from Bangladesh to their country.  On 22 January, Dhaka announced that the first returns of the refugees, initially planned for the following day, would not begin on time (see EUROPE 11912).
