Given prevalence of fraud, MEPs want to enhance value of EU honey

On Tuesday 23 January, in Brussels, a large majority of the European Parliament committee on agriculture (38 votes for, 1 against) adopted an own-initiative report on the prospects and challenges facing the EU apiculture sector (see EUROPE 11849).
