Round-up of negotiations on fifth anti-money laundering directive

On Tuesday 14 November, the negotiators of the European Parliament, the European Commission and the Council of the EU took their leave of each other after an hour of discussions, with no agreement on the fifth anti-money laundering directive.

The trialogue meeting took place even though the Estonian Presidency of the Council had no mandate from the member states to conclude this dossier at this eighth round of talks.
