18/09/2017 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission will be organising a conference on the challenges facing the European Union budget (see EUROPE 11818) on Monday 25 September in Brussels. The Future of EU Finances conference will bring interested parties together from a range of different areas: the member states, reflection groups and EU institutions. They will hold an exchange of views on the shape the next multiannual financial framework (MFF) should take. This follows publication of the reflection document on the future of the EU finances. Commissioners Günther H. Oettinger (Budget), Corina Creţu (Regional Policy) and Mariya Gabriel (Digital Economy) will also be contributing to the debate. (LC)
