Advocate General makes decision on case involving a copy of an examination containing data of personal nature

In her conclusions on Case C-434/16 on Thursday 20 July, Advocate General Juliane Kokott said that a copy of an examination contained information of a personal nature and a candidate could therefore have access to it.

An Irish citizen had, on several occasions. failed an examination organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland.  In 2010, this individual requested access to a copy of the examination, which the organisation refused, due to the absence of personal data...
