EU extends mandate of EUPOL COPPS and EU BAM Rafah missions

On Tuesday 4 July, the Council extended the mandate of the EU co-ordinating office for Palestinian police support (EUPOL COPPS), as well as the mandate of the EU border assistance mission for the Rafah crossing point (EU BAM Rafah), until 30 June 2018. 

The Council says in a press release that for the period from 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018, €12.722 million has been allocated for the activities of the EUPOL COPPS mission, which since January 2016 has been helping the Palestinian...
