Brazil confident about possibility of concluding trade agreement with EU in 2017

On Tuesday 14 March, Brazil's Foreign Affairs Minister Aloysio Nunes said he was confident about the possibility of the EU and Mercosur (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay – with Venezuela being suspended from the South American bloc) concluding their free trade negotiations this year.  He added that the isolationism of Donald Trump's USA encouraged Mercosur to seek other trade opportunities.
