Despite Eurosceptic surge, European Parliament remains committed to process of European integration

The members of the European Parliament laid down their vision of a reformed EU that is democratically accountable and able to face the current challenges, in their adoption, on Wednesday 15 February, of the draft 'Verhofstadt' report on the future of the EU with treaty change, the draft 'Brok/Bresso' report on the future of the EU with no treaty change and the draft 'Berès/Böge' report on a fiscal capacity for the Eurozone (see EUROPE 11725, 11686).
