Despite the crisis, Europeans are still going to the cinema. This was revealed in a survey published by the European Audiovisual Observatory on Friday 10 February. Total admissions in the European Union continued to grow, increasing by 1.6% to 994 million tickets sold in 2016. This is 16 million more than in 2015.
