On Tuesday 25 October, the European Parliament gave its support to the approach proposed by Kaja Kallas (ALDE, Estonia) for negotiations with the Council on the proposed directive governing customs infringements and the related sanctions. This directive concerns infringements of the Customs Code, which entered into force in May 2016.
