In 2015, the European Union again failed to reach the goal it set itself for collectively allocating 0.7% of its Gross National Income (GNI) to public development aid (PDA). The funding deficit in terms of real transfers of resources to development stood at €36.5 billion according to the 2016 reports on European PDA, which was published on Wednesday evening 26 October by CONCORD, the largest development NGO network and Aidwatch.
