12/11/2015 (Agence Europe) - European Parliament committee approves visa-free regimes for nine further countries. The European Parliament's civil liberties committee gave the green light on Tuesday 10 November to visa-free travel for the nationals of nine more countries: five in the Caribbean - Dominica, Grenada, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago - three in Asia-Pacific - Timor-Leste, Samoa and Vanuatu - and the United Arab Emirates, the Commission announced in a press release. Under these visa-free regimes, nationals of the above countries will be able to remain in the Schengen free movement area for up to three months. The Parliamentary plenary vote is scheduled for December. (SP)
