MEPs condemn latest executions

Brussels, 30/04/2015 (Agence Europe) - During a debate on Thursday 30 April, MEPs criticised the latest executions in Indonesia, reiterating their opposition to the death penalty. During the night of 28-29 April, eight people were executed - including seven foreigners - for drugs trafficking. On behalf of the EPP Group, Arnaud Danjean from France called on European leaders to do more. “This issue is essential for European nationals”, he added. Four Europeans are still waiting on death...
