Parliamentary study group on Eastern Christians

Strasbourg, 30/04/2015 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 30 April in Strasbourg, MEP Michèle Alliot-Marie (EPP, France) launched a European Parliament study group on Eastern Christians. Asserting that “since the begining of our presence in the Parliament, thousands of Christians have been killed” in the world, Alliot-Marie stressed the need to come to their defence. “Europe should not be afraid of its Christian origins,” she said.
