Brussels, 30/04/2015 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission decided on Wednesday 29 April to refer Hungary to the Court of Justice of the EU for its refusal to open up the profession of notary to non-nationals.
The Commission is of the view that this nationality requirement runs contrary to rules on freedom of establishment and cannot be justified under Article 51 TFEU, on activities linked to official authority. (Mathieu Bion)
