Parliament denounces Nairobi's refusal to arrest Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir

Strasbourg, 10/09/2010 (Agence Europe) - In a joint resolution from the EPP, S&D, ALDE, Greens/EFA, ECR and GUE/NGL groups, adopted on Thursday 9 September, the European Parliament denounces the decision taken by Kenyan authorities to invite Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir to attend the signing ceremony for the new Kenyan constitution on 27 August this year, without being troubled in any way. Al-Bashir has been the subject of an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court (ICC)...
