Guy Verhofstadt says Commission must uphold EU treaties on Roma rights

Brussels, 10/09/2010 (Agence Europe) - Further to France's refusal to “immediately suspend all Roma expulsions” as required by the European Parliament in its resolution voted on Thursday 9 September in Strasbourg, Guy Verhofstadt (ALDE, Belgium) affirmed on Friday 10 September that the “European Commission must uphold EU treaties on Roma rights”.
