Decision at start of February on allocation of funds from recovery plan for electricity and gas interconnection projects

Brussels, 29/01/2010 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is expected to reach a formal decision at the start of February on the allocation of the remaining €2.365 billion from the €3.98 billion envelope designated for key energy infrastructure projects in 2009 and 2010, as part of the European recovery plan that was agreed at the end of 2008. “We have completed our evaluation and the formal decision will be taken next week,” Jean-Arnold Vinois head of unit at DG Energy at the...
