29/01/2010 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) has decided to contribute to the promotion of “green cities” in Greece by granting a loan of €50 million to the town of Heraklion, in Crete. The projects financed will be focused on local development with a view to improving the quality of life of residents and visitors.
