Pursuit of internal market and financial services infringement procedures

Brussels, 29/01/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 28 January, the European Commission decided to send reasoned opinions to seven member states in infringement procedures opened in areas such as public procurement, professional qualifications and financial services.

Public procurement. Greece has been asked to explain the award of a contract for the management of hazardous medical waste in the 1st Regional Health service in Attica (1 DYPE ATTIKIS) without going through a tendering process....
