29/01/2010 (Agence Europe) - The Commission is taking Germany to the European Court of Justice for discriminatory treatment of disabled immigrant workers such as the blind and deaf who work in Germany but live in another country. Under German law, their benefits are subject in all 16 regions of Germany to residence or habitual residence criteria that amount to discriminatory treatment of immigrant and cross-border workers who pay social security in Germany but are not able to claim the same...
