New cross-party group on youth issues set up at EP

Brussels, 11/12/2009 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's political parties decided on Thursday 10 December to set up an intergroup (a cross-party group) on youth issues, based on a written statement by the European Parliament on increasing youth involvement in EU policies and regular cooperation between the European Youth Forum (EYF) and several MEPs (see EUROPE 9733).
