Brussels, 11/12/2009 (Agence Europe) - As the global climate conference in Copenhagen (COP 15, 7-18 December) moves into its ministerial phase this weekend, EU heads of state and government, in Brussels on Friday 11 December, confirmed the EU negotiating mandate and their determination to do all in their power to achieve a comprehensive, ambitious and politically binding agreement to keep the rise in temperature to below 2° Celsius after 2012.
