2010 fisheries quotas, animal welfare and future of agricultural policy up for debate Monday to Wednesday

Brussels, 11/12/2009 (Agence Europe) - EU agriculture and fisheries ministers will meet in Brussels from Monday 14 to Wednesday 16 December, with the main items on the agenda being setting total allowable catches (TACs) and quotas in the waters of the Atlantic, the Channel and the North Sea for 2010, animal welfare and the future of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). The ministers' programme is expected to be: - Monday: from 10.00am, a round table discussion on the first compromise text...
