GENERAL NEWS / (eu) ep/fight against corruption

31/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - Last week in Brussels, Carl Schlyter (Greens/EFA, Sweden), Edith Mastenbroek (PES, Netherlands) and Bill Newton Dunn (ALDE, UK) launched the European Charter for the Global Organisation of Parliamentarians against Corruption (GOPAC-Europe). A website has been opened for all European citizens wishing to denounce cases of corruption (http: //http://www.meddelarfrihet.nu ). The GOPAC international network was created in 2002 in Ottawa at the initiative of over 170 parliamentarians from throughout the world.
