UNITED KINGDOM: European Parliament in favour of closest possible post-Brexit relationship, but without selling short EU standards

On Wednesday 12 February, the European Parliament adopted its position on the Twenty-Seven’s matters of priority in view of the negotiations to be opened in March between the EU and the UK on a post-Brexit cooperation agreement, including trade(see EUROPE B12423A5, B12420A1).
