12/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - To mark the 10th anniversary of the Oviedo Convention (which came into force on 1 December 1999), the Council of Europe is holding a conference, “The Convention on Human Rights and Biomedicine: 10 years”, on in Strasbourg on 3 November. The conference will assess the impact of the Convention, its current appropriateness and the sustainability of the principles it established. (O.J./transl.rt)
