12/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 9 October, the Council of Ministers of the EU adopted without debate the decision (which also established the rectifying budget for this) which will allow Italy to receive aid of €493,771,159 from the Solidarity Fund of the EU to cover a proportion of the expense incurred after last April's earthquake in the Abruzzi region (see EUROPE 9995 for more about the European Parliament's green light to this aid).
