Germany ratifies new treaty

Brussels, 23/09/2009 (Agence Europe) - On 23 September, German President Horst Köhler signed the laws of ratification of the Lisbon Treaty, making Germany the 24th member state to ratify the new treaty. Ireland, the Czech Republic and Poland are the countries which have not yet ratified the treaty. (H.B./transl.rt)
