23/09/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 23 September, King Juan Carlos of Spain and the European Commissioner for energy, Andris Piebalgs inaugurated the biggest thermodynamic solar power centre in Europe, near Seville. The PS20 plant has a MW20 capacity and will be able to produce electricity for 10,000 homes at the same time as avoiding emissions of 12,000 tonnes of CO2 a year.
