23/09/2009 (Agence Europe) - On 18 September, the European Commission presented the Council with a proposed directive on transportable pressure equipment. Once it is adopted, this text will replace the current directive (1999/36/EC) on this issue. The Commission's proposal therefore responds solely to a need for simplification and clarification.
