23/09/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 22 September, the European Commission approved the takeover of Paris Re Holdings (Switzerland) by PartnerRe Ltd (Bermuda). Both companies are reinsurers active at a global level. The operation was examined under the simplified procedure. (C.D./trans.fl)
