Brussels, 02/03/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 2 March, the European Commission announced it had granted clearance to the acquisition of sole control of Columbian Chemicals Holding LLC (CCH) of the US by One Equity Partners II L.P. (OEP), also of the US. OEP, a private equity fund, is controlled by JPMorgan. CCH produces and sells carbon black. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
