Harmonisation of rules on maximum pesticide residues welcomed by farmers

Brussels, 11/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - Unlike environmentalist organisations, the farming community has welcomed the new rules on maximum pesticide residue limits (MRLs) that have been in force since 1 September (see EUROPE 9730).
